Conflict Resolutionist Dr. Susan Cobb At HLT

On October 12th, conflict resolution practitioner Dr. Susan Cobb visited Holy Land Trust for a roundtable discussion on her research, work and experience with narratives transforming conflict resolution.  Dr. Cobb is director of the Institute of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (ICAR) at George Mason University and is also involved with the Taos Institute, a social research organization in the United States. Dr. Cobb provided some excellent insights into how “impartial” narratives are not possible in conflict resolution, and how narratives and perceptions on opposing parties can positively and negatively affect different scenarios.
